Man! I loved this game! I played the C64 version, and had such a good time with it. Until, that is, I got to the screen on the pirated copy of the game that my dad had picked up at a swap meet that would always crash right away.

I also wrote up a mini-review on 0x38 - http://0x38.com/151292_By_Platform/151295_DOS/152491_Montezumas_Revenge - and now I'm off to go find a .D64, I think.
